Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy outlines how Trinibond ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects the information collected from users ("you" or "your") of our mobile application ("the App").
Information We Collect
Advertising Data
- User interactions with advertisements displayed within the App
- Device identifiers, such as the Advertising ID on Android, and the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS where you have granted permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt
- Other metrics related to ad performance and user engagement
Product Interaction Data
- Data related to your interactions with the App, such as clicks, views, preferences, and other engagement metrics, collected through Google Firebase Analytics
- Aggregate usage patterns, session counts, screen views, retention metrics, and crash diagnostics used to improve our services and user experience
- An anonymous Firebase installation identifier used to attribute events to a device without identifying you personally
Purchase Data
- The product identifier of any in-app purchase you make (for example, the puzzle pack you bought)
- The transaction identifier and purchase date returned by the App Store or Google Play after a successful purchase
- An entitlement record associating the purchase with your anonymous device installation identifier so that purchased content remains available on subsequent launches and after reinstalling the App
We do not receive or store your payment card number, expiry date, billing address, or any other payment credentials. All payment processing is handled by Apple (on iOS) and Google (on Android) under their respective terms.
How We Use Your Information
- Third-Party Advertising: We use advertising data to display third-party ads within the App and may share this data with entities who display these ads.
- Analytics: We analyze user behavior and engagement to understand the effectiveness of our features, optimize performance, and plan new features.
- Product Personalization: We customize your experience by recommending products or services based on your interactions with the App.
- App Functionality: We use data to authenticate users, prevent fraud, ensure app security, and enhance app performance.
Data Linkage and Privacy Protections
We take measures to protect your privacy, including:
- Avoiding attempts to link collected data back to individual users after collection.
- Not tying collected data to other datasets that could enable re-identification.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS, the App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. The first time you open the puzzle screen, iOS will display a system prompt asking whether you allow Trinibond to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.
- If you tap Allow, your IDFA is shared with Google AdMob so that the ads shown to you can be more relevant to your interests, which generally yields higher revenue and helps support continued development of the App.
- If you tap Ask App Not to Track, no IDFA is shared. The App still shows ads, but they will be non-personalized (selected based only on contextual signals such as country and language).
You can change your decision at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Trinibond.
Consent for Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are located in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect your consent for personalized advertising and certain related data uses, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy Directive.
- The first time the App requests an ad, you will see a consent dialog explaining the data uses involved and listing the relevant ad partners.
- You may grant or refuse consent for each purpose. If you refuse, the ads shown to you will be non-personalized.
- You may withdraw or change your consent at any time. If a future version of the App exposes this option in-app, it will be available in the Settings screen; otherwise consent state can be reset by reinstalling the App.
In-App Purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases such as puzzle packs. When you make a purchase:
- Payment is processed entirely by Apple (on iOS, via the App Store) or Google (on Android, via Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Apple or Google returns a transaction receipt to the App, which we send to our servers for verification and to record your entitlement to the purchased content.
- The entitlement is associated with your anonymous device installation identifier, not with any personal information about you. This allows your purchases to remain available after reinstalling the App, and to be restored using the App's Restore Purchases control.
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
Apple's handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Google Play's handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Sharing of Information
We share collected information with trusted third-party service providers in order to operate the App, namely:
- Google AdMob — serves advertisements within the App and processes ad-related identifiers and engagement data.
- Google Firebase — Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications you have opted in to receive.
- Google Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics for Firebase — processes app event and usage data so we can understand how the App is used and improve it.
- Unity Ads — serves advertisements within the App where AdMob inventory is unavailable.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — process in-app purchase payments and return transaction receipts that confirm the purchase.
These third parties are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us. Google's processing of data on our behalf is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Unity's processing is governed by Unity's Privacy Policy. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Your Choices and Rights
You can control and manage the information collected about you in several ways:
- iOS: Change or revoke ATT permission at Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Trinibond.
- Android: Reset or delete your Advertising ID at Settings > Privacy > Ads (the exact path varies by device).
- EEA / UK / Switzerland: Withdraw or change consent collected via the in-app UMP dialog as described above.
- Push notifications: Disable in the App's Settings screen, or in your device's notification settings for Trinibond.
- In-app purchases: Use the App's Restore Purchases control to re-sync entitlements after reinstalling or switching devices. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (Google Play refund request) under their respective policies.
- Data access, correction, or deletion: Contact us using the details below to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you.
